Last weekend, the first elooa CARVING CAMP presented by NITRO SNOWBOARDS took place at Stubai Glacier. All participants had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable weekend with Nitro founder and co-owner Tommy Delago and the elooa coaches.

Tommy looks back as a pro of the 80s on 40 years experience in the snowboard business and develops together with the team all shapes. Thus, all participants could benefit from his know-how, were able to improve their riding skills and got to know and test the individual shapes from Nitro Snowboards for free.

After the check-in on Friday the campers got to meet the elooa team and also all informations about the weekend. After this a private video premiere of the new Nitro Snowboards documentary 28 Winters for the right mood before heading to the Stubai Glacier on Saturday followed. The weather was pretty stormy and cold but the snow conditions were perfect and we had an own closed slope for carving. After a long and intense warm- up, everyone was equipped with new boards and started to enter the slopes. During the day all campers were individually coached on their own carving slope with valuable tips from the elooa crew and Tommy personally. Back in the hotel, after a day with temperatures below minus 20 degrees, the sauna and wellness area was waiting to heat the frozen bones. In the evening a carving theory lesson, a boardshape lesson by Tommy and some videos on Carving Meets Freestyle were shown.

On the final Sunday there was a lot of testing and carving and also an own elooa Carving Slalom course to practice. The first elooa CARVING CAMP was a true highlight and perfect to expand the know-how, to improve the riding technique and to find the ideal board for the individual needs.

The camp was a lot of fun and we are already looking forward to the next elooa SNOWBOARD CAMPS. The elooa crew would like to thank all sponsors, participants and of course Tommy Delago for a great experience and a successful CARVING CAMP on the Stubai Glacier.
