Last weekend there was again an unforgettable highlight happening at elooa: our unique elooa POW HUNTER TRUCK started with 15 participants and DAKINE Pro Rider Elias Elhardt the search for powder and found it in Defereggental.

To make this dream of every snowboarder come true, the travel experts from elooa only set up the date and invited the participants to jump on board their unique Expedition-Hotel-Truck. This made the small group location-independent and able to visit the perfect powder hotspot to Freeride every day, spending the nights in the cozy Hotel-Truck. 



We started on Friday afternoon in Munich and after extensive research, the Defereggental in East Tyrol was selected as destination. After a delicious dinner and the first night in the truck, sunshine and 50 cm of finest powder was waiting on Saturday for the participants. Equipped with powder weapons from Nitro Snowboards and after a detailed avalanche safety training, so that everyone was always safe and could really enjoy the incredible powder, Elias Elhardt and the elooa snowboard guides took the participants into the backcountry. In addition there was plenty of tips from Elias and the elooa team so everyone could work on his skills and improve his individual Freeride technique. In the evening a mind-blowing parking spot at 2000m altitude with epic clear sky was waiting. So a perfect snowboard day ended with a beer or two next to the campfire. For Sunday, the elooa guides have picked up numerous fresh runs so that the participants could experience a maximum of unforgettable powder runs before returning with tired legs and happy faces to Munich.

The adventure was also captured by a professional photographer and filmmaker, so that everything remains in eternal memory.

An absolutely unforgettable and snow rich weekend came to an end and we are looking forward to the next elooa POW HUNTER TRUCK CAMPS - then maybe with you!
