Last weekend we started the 2023/24 season with our elooa Season Opening Camp presented by Nitro Snowboards at Kaunertal. Together with 20 super motivated campers, our coaches and professional snowboarders Yanneck Konda and Moritz Amsuess we had a great weekend.

After the onset of winter overnight, the news unfortunately came on Saturday morning that the Kaunertal Glacier would remain closed. Thanks to the fresh snow, we decided to hike the local lift in the valley in Feichten with all participants and start the season with powder coaching and fresh deep snow. This quickly put a big smile on the faces of all campers and coaches and the good mood was back. Afterwards there was a kicker session and all participants received valuable tips from our coaches and were able to quickly celebrate progress and success. In the afternoon we went to the indoor swimming pool and in the evening there was extensive video coaching. Also a joint video evening and great prizes from our partners Blue Tomato and Nitro Snowboards for the campers who impressed us the most.

Fully motivated, we finally went to the Kaunertal Glacier on Sunday and a great day awaited us with a meter of fresh snow and perfectly groomed slopes. The Kaunertal Snowpark was closed as a result, but we simply turned the entire area into a snowpark. Numerous powder turns and side hits once again created a great atmosphere and an all-round successful but different elooa Season Opening Camp. On top of that, all campers had the opportunity to test the latest Nitro snowboards for free throughout the weekend in order to find the right board for their needs. Our guests had a lot of fun and took home great impressions and new snowboard tricks with them.
