Last weekend, all participants of the elooa SPLITBOARD ENJOYER CAMP presented by VOLCOM experienced an unforgettable splitboard weekend including catboarding support, 3000m summit and hot tub sessions in our dreamlike location in Maseben in South Tyrol.

Equipped with brand new K2 splitboards and avalanche safety equipment from BCA, we headed up to the mountain hut at just under 2300m on Friday lunchtime together with VOLCOM team riders Roli and Holzi. This was followed by a descent down to the valley before heading back to the hut exclusively with a special cat, which served as a base for our tours over the next few days. After checking into our rooms, we enjoyed a delicious South Tyrolean 3-course menu in the cozy hut.

On Saturday there was snowfall and very changeable visibility, but still good enough to do two splitboard tours as a warm-up for Sunday through the fresh new snow. This was followed by extended sauna & hot tub sessions before another delicious dinner was waiting.

Sunday presented itself with sunshine and good conditions for climbing a mountain peak over 3000m high. After a panoramic lunch snack on the summit, an endlessly long run through untracked powder followed all the way down to the parking lot in the valley.

Afterwards, it was time to say goodbye and review the fantastic weekend once again, before everyone unanimously said: "Thank you elooa for the great camp and see you next time!" 


Another absolutely unforgettable weekend came to an end and we are already looking forward to the next elooa SPLITBOARD CAMPS - maybe also with you!
