This winter we went for the first time to Japan for Splitboarding! Together we traveled to the deep snow of the northern island Hokkaido.

After arrival on Hokkaido we visited straight the area around Niseko, which is famous for record snow falls of more than 20m each year and known as one of the snowiest places on our earth. Here we had numerous unforgettable untracked deep powder tours even with ocean view and on the volcano Yotei. After four powder-rich days treated our pretty tired legs with a travel day, on which we visited a snowy beach and ate the freshest Sushi you can imagine. After we headed on to Asahidake and in the following days the island’s highest mountain as well as the Tokachi Range. After we visited the snowcovered metropolis of Sapporo for a last dose of shopping and sightseeing. After that it was time to say goodbye to the snow and we started our journey back home.
