This July we went together with Surf Pro Leon Glatzer to the elooa MALDIVES SURF ADVENTURE presented by Dakine. Leon is Germany's Olympic Hope and traveled directly from the US from the STAB High Contest to the Maldives to spend a dream trip with elooa and 9 participants.

The exclusive surf adventure took place again on our surf ship Triton and started in the south to maximise our surf time. We took a domestic flight and went directly from Malé to southern Laamu Atoll. There, the boat trip started directly with numerous sessions at the world-class wave "The Machine" before moving on to Thaa Atoll where "Mikado Inside, Outside and Shipwrecks" awaited us with 3 more spots! 3 incredible waves directly from the boat to reach. The first week we had perfect surf conditions with 30 degrees warm water and all the waves for us alone. Perfect Rights, Lefts, Barrels, Easy Waves ... just everything the surfers heart desires. These beautiful reefs, crystal clear water, dolphins, colorful fish and turtles in the line up of impeccable waves. Every day at least 3 extensive surf sessions with tips from Leon and shootings with our professional photographer Alex Papis, in between delicious food and some rest. In the evening, of course, everyone was super tired and overjoyed, they just fell into bed. Surf, eat, sleep, repeat!

After 7 days we had to start slowly towards the north where after a longer crossing the Meemu Atoll waited for us until we went on to the well-known surfing sports of the South- and North-Malé-Atoll. In the second week, the waves were a bit smaller, but always with perfect conditions. At the crossings we were busy fishing and we were successful. From a Mahi Mahi and a Red Grouper, our chef conjured up sashimi directly and a delicious dinner of grilled fish followed. In the north, in addition to surfing, there was also an island visit to catch some of the local culture and to pick one or two coconuts.

A dream trip came to an end and it was great to surf together with a pro like Leon and to benefit from his know-how. A big thank you to all participants for the unforgettable time in the Maldives and to Leon Glatzer and Dakine who made it possible to realize this trip with a real Surf Pro. It was a highlight to watch Leon surf, get valuable tips and hear interesting stories. If you also feel like surfing the Maldives check out the homepage of our boat www.triton-surfari.com!
