Last weekend our elooa SPLITBOARD ENJOYER CAMP presented by VOLCOM finally took place again for all advanced splitboarders who wanted to experience something very special!

At the foot of the Sonnenkopf, in the middle of the Klostertal, the unique VOLCOM "STONEY MOUNTAIN" HOUSE was waiting for us to experience a top-class splitboard powder highlight together with the VOLCOM team riders, our state-certified guides and the elooa crew. Where necessary, we also provided complete splitboard equipment from our partner K2 and BCA Backcountry Access avalanche safety equipment.

After the check-in on Thursday evening and a delicious 3-course menu, on Friday morning we went directly with the VOLCOM team riders for a first warm-up day to Sonnenkopf ski area. Fortunately, the snowfall of the last few days provided a good 40cm of fresh powder on the mountains and thus also beamed smiling faces after every run. In the afternoon we went back to the accommodation for a hearty snack. The K2 splitboard test material was then assembled before a delicious dinner followed.

Although Saturday brought mixed weather with clouds and snowfall, there was enough fresh snow to start unforgettable splitboard tours on the Sonnenkopf, where every run led through deep powder and created a stoked atmosphere. Happy and exhausted this time, all participants crept into their beds in the evening.

Sunday blessed us with an unforeseen cloudless sky and bright sunshine. After a short drive to the starting point, a splitboard backcountry adventure up the Erzbergspitze followed. The subsequent descent through fresh and deep powder in grandiose terrain put a big grin on the faces of all participants. A well-deserved, delicious cold drink was then enjoyed with a magnificent panorama of the summit and the last rays of sunshine.
