Our unique elooa POW HUNTER TRUCK presented by K2 SNOWBOARDING started the search for powder and found it between Arlberg and Paznauntal.

To enable this, we only set the date and packed the 14 participants on board of our unique Expedition-Hotel-Truck for two days. This way we were location-independent and could enjoy selected tours by our experienced mountain guides through the finest powder far away in the backcountry.

We started on Friday afternoon at 16:00 in Munich and went straight on with our truck to Wald am Arlberg. There we provided a complete K2 splitboard equipment as well as a BCA Backcountry Access avalanche safety equipment if needed and explained our guests the program and tours for the weekend. After we had a delicious dinner in the newly opened Roots Restaurant and everybody could go to bed in the parked truck out-front.

On the next morning we started our first tour from Stuben to the breathtaking Maroiköpfe and further up to the 2686m high Krachelspitze. After that hike an endless long run through the finest powder far away from the ski resorts with a 2500hm altitude difference followed and ending in a funny banked slalom back into the valley where our truck picked up the smiling powder faces. Bevor sunset we changed location to Paznauntal and had a well deserved dinner with lot ́s of liquid intake and a good sleep in the bunks of our truck.

On the last day we went back up with lift support this time in direction Gamsbergspitze. First through deeply snowed in and frozen trees always the sun a little closer. Reaching the peak at more than 2600m we had blazing sunshine and a breathtaking peak view over the sea of clouds below. Once again all participants could enjoy an unforgettable long powder run through the endless wideness of the Paznaun backcountry before we went home together to Munich in the afternoon.

In two days we experienced together with our mountain guides and with the help of lift support a mountain adventure of a special kind including endless long, breathtaking powder runs through the lonely backcountry. We are already looking forward to a new edition in the next winter season!
