The Tröllaskagi below the Polar Circle usually gets a thick blanket of snow and offers great varied tours for beginners as well as advanced. And with a little bit luck you can even experience the Northern Lights in the sky!

Together we fly to Reykjavik in Iceland, landing there in the late afternoon. From here, we take our rental car and drive 2.5 hours north to Hvammstangi for our first night. The next morning, we will cover the rest of the distance to Tröllaskagi and start our first warm-up splitboard tour there before moving into our accommodation near Akureyri in the afternoon. Staying in our own lodge with a jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, and living room, we will be able to enjoy a variety of splitboard tours, including sea views, with our experienced mountain guide over the next five days. Daily relaxation in our own hot tub or in one of the many geothermal baths in the area is just as much a part of the program as visits to breathtaking sights such as Godafoss Waterfall, Hverarönd Solfatare, and Myvatn Geothermal Area. On our last night in Keflavik, we will look back on an unforgettable week before heading home early in the morning.
